A multi sensory room offers the infants/toddlers, and early childhood children the opportunity to experience bubble columns, fiber optic lights, ultra violet lights, liquid and solar effect lighting, and a resonance chaise lounge. The multi–sensory room encourages relaxation while encouraging the use of senses in a non-directed manner and assists in promoting physical contact and relationships; encourages eye contact, touching and verbal responses; and assists in developing cause and effect understanding, develops motor skills, and promotes independence.
